Admissions & Registration
Starting your journey at British University in Oman is straightforward. Here is everything you need to know about applying, enrolling, and getting started.
Check Entry Requirements
Review the academic and English language requirements for your chosen programme. Undergraduate applicants typically need a minimum of 60% in their secondary school certificate. Postgraduate applicants require a relevant bachelor's degree.
Submit Your Application
Applications are submitted online through the BUiO admissions portal. You will need certified copies of your academic certificates, a valid passport or national ID, and a personal statement for postgraduate programmes.
Receive Your Offer
The admissions team reviews applications on a rolling basis. Successful applicants receive a conditional or unconditional offer letter, typically within 5–10 working days of a complete application.
Complete Enrolment
Accept your offer, pay the registration fee, and complete the online enrolment form. You will then receive your student ID, timetable, and access to the student portal ahead of your first day.
