British University in Oman
The British University in Oman (BUiO) is Oman's first British university, established in 2007 under a Royal Decree. Located in Al Khuwair, Muscat, BUiO delivers UK-validated programmes across business, computing, and engineering — combining British academic rigour with deep local relevance.
BUiO is accredited by the Oman Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority (OAAA) and maintains partnerships with leading UK universities. Its graduates are recognised across the GCC and internationally.
